Our Lady Mary....The Lover
The fourth week of my mother’s cancer treatment I meditated on the slogan to “take heart”. It means courage I think, like week three’s prayer card was for the attribute of courage.
But the fourth chakra is the heart and the attributes are for love and joy. Trying to find joy in the midst of illness is certainly a challenge, but I am joyful and thankful that so far the symptoms of her treatment have been fairly mild.
It’s ironic that I wrote the prayer about forgiveness because that was Christmas week and I think the stress has taken a bit of a toll and my father and we ended up bickering.
I do regret that and I’m reminded in writing this to meditate more on this card.
